WOMAN OF THE WEEK: Emily Marie Harris (Avianna Cosplay)

Continuing with my pattern of featuring local women, I've decided to showcase another lady hailing from the Leatherneck country of WIU and give you all a little taste of the ever-inspiring, Emily Marie Harris.  Emily is the mind and creator of the online/cosplay persona Avianna.  While Emily has concocted a slew of character representations in the like of Harley Quinn, Lady Gaga, Wenda (from Where's Waldo?), Neofeo from Chrono Cross, and countless characters from Silver Star Story Complete, it is her obvious obsession with the Silent Hill series that has brought her here today.  In case you haven't been keeping up on your daily dose of Day of the Woman (shame on you if you haven't), a week or so ago I did a write-up on my experiences with survival horror video games, focusing on Silent Hill: Homecoming.  From that write-up, I've found myself completely OBSESSED with the Silent Hill video games and have begun really appreciating everything to do with the series.  Ignoring such a powerful creator right in my own back yard would be foolish, and Emily Marie Harris is one of the best of them all. I've creeped through her photos and chosen my favorites to show you all right here.  Enjoy.
